Dr. Michael A. Gott is a fellowship trained orthopedic surgeonspecializing in conditions of the shoulderelbow,wristhipknee and ankle including traumatic and sports related injuries as well as arthritic conditions. He focuses on conservative, non-operative treatments for most conditions.

Dr. Gott attended Albert Einstein College of Medicine after graduating from Emory University, where he was on the Dean’s List for all four years. He completed his Orthopedic Surgery Residency at Northshore/Long Island Jewish Hospital System, completing his Sports Medicine Fellowship at the American Sports Medicine Institute – St. Vincent’s (Birmingham, Alabama), where he worked under renowned orthopedist Dr. James Andrews, Dr. Lyle Cain and Dr. Jeff Dugas.

Dr. Gott has a passion for working with amateur and collegiate athletes. He is the current team physician for Yorktown High School Athletics, having previously worked as a team physician for Troy University and the University of Alabama. He has been a member of the National Ski Patrol since 1995.
